This degree provides students with fundamental knowledge in the principles of computers including software development, database, networking and security. Students will also learn basic business principles. They select to specialize in either computer networking or software development. Students will provide evidence of competencies in communications, social sciences, humanities and fine arts. Analytical and inferential reasoning and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one’s own are also taught. This degree will prepare students for an entry level position in network support or software development.
