You are searching for an answer. Also its good to brows through the chapter first and read the problems at the end of each chapter. Take notes while you read and then consolidate your lecture notes and book notes. Do problems and practice and practice till you know it like the back of your hand.
In order to make practices tests for the purpose of studying all you got to do is utilize questions from class from the end of the chapters make up your own multiple choice by looking at lecture slides etc.
